Charitable Giving for Small Businesses

I think when most people think about charitable giving, they think about of putting money into the collection plate at their church. But that’s only one form of giving, and its on the individual level. Many local small businesses who find a little extra in their bank accounts offer humble donations to non-profits and charities in their communities. Southern Rubbish included.

We often offer our junk removal services at low or no cost to some of the charities around town. We’ve donated pet supplies and given monetary gifts to the Humane Society of Forsyth County. We’re not the only ones, though. Many other local businesses have dedicated their time and efforts to help the HSFC.

Did you know that Rucker Pet supplies 100% of the food that the animals eat at the Humane Society of Forsyth? What incredible generosity! Very impressive Rucker. You can support them by visiting one of their 3 locations:

Rucker Horse & Pet: 3540 Keith Bridge Rd. Cumming, Ga 30041

Rucker Pet & Wild Bird: 4335 Bethelview Rd. Cumming, Ga 30040

Rucker Pet & Wild Bird: 3245 Peachtree Pkwy. Suwanee, Ga 30024

Junk Removal Donation

Donations and fundraisers aren’t the only way the HSFC keeps its doors open. The doggie-kitty non-profit also has a thrift store in Cumming where people can donate usable items and people can purchase those items at great discounts. All proceeds go to benefit the animals of the Humane Society in our community. The thrift store is located at 168 Tri County Plaza in Cumming. So please stop by and support a great cause.
